The Shine Garden : Treasures From My Travels
After 30 years of travel with the Army, I have finally landed in one place to begin my 12-year gardening of fun and enjoyment. My garden has gone through many changes over the years.
The current layout is a result of what I have learned in the Master Gardener Course. I have various species of perennials and annuals planted in my lake garden, patio garden, and hay market baskets. Species of perennials and annuals I use are hostas, day lilies, knock out roses, Russian sage, geraniums, sedums, yarrow, catmint, coneflowers, hydrangeas, ferns, marigolds and clematis vines.
My garden is for my own enjoyment, memories of my travels to various countries, and for viewing as boaters travel up and down Tipton Lake.
